Dental Assistant

Brittney was raised in central Ohio and graduated from Dublin Coffman High School. She attended Cardean University where she earned her Early Childhood Accreditation. Brittney was a preschool teacher for five years before deciding to go back to school to become a dental assistant. She graduated from The Ohio Institute of Health Careers, earning her Dental Assisting Diploma. She is certified in Radiology and CPR. Brittney happily joined the Wedgewood Endodontics team in 2010. When Brittney is not at work, you can find her spending time with her daughter or enjoying a good book.

Melissa WhaleyMelissa Whaley, Patient Coordinator

Patient Coordinator

Melissa grew up in Kettering, Ohio where she graduated from Kettering Fairmont High School before moving to Columbus. She studied at The Ohio State University and graduated from Capital University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. Melissa has twenty plus years of experience in the dental field. She has worked and managed general and orthodontic practices prior to happily joining Dr. Ettrich’s staff in 2011. She is a member of the Central Ohio Study Club. Outside of work, you might find Melissa at a baseball or football field with her son, a dance class with her daughter or at home enjoying the latest crime novel.

Milissa EttrichMilissa Ettrich, Business Accounts Manager

Business Accounts Manager

Born to Air Force parents, Milissa began her life in Okinawa, Japan. She attended and graduated high school in Ogden, Utah. After graduation she decided to follow in her parents’ footsteps and enlist in the Air Force where she earned her Dental Assistant Certificate. During her eight years in the Air Force, Milissa assisted in all aspects of dentistry including prosthodontics, endodontics and oral surgery. She was selected as Airman of the Quarter, promoted four times and was awarded the Air Force Achievement Medal. In preparation of becoming a new mom, Milissa decided to leave the Air Force in 1999 to focus on her family. Throughout those years she had two at-home businesses, Creative Memories and Mary Kay. In 2007, she eagerly took on the role of managing the business accounts for Wedgewood Endodontics. Milissa likes to spend her time with family and friends, volunteering at her children’s schools and reading. After living in so many places, fifteen in all, Milissa is happy to finally grow roots in this beautiful place we call home, Ohio.
