I need two root canals done due to an injury, but only had it diagnosed a few days before a cervical disc pain blocking radio frequency surgery was scheduled. Since the root canals were required first, Dr. Ettric did both two days ahead (and they were difficult) so I had no pain from the root canals by my surgery date. Dr. Ettric was amazing, and other than keeping my jaw open so long, I had no discomfort or pain - which was incredible compared to past root canals. The fact he was willing to do both in one sitting in my case, see me within my "emergency window," and provide such a wonderful experience was a real blessing. His entire staff was kind, very warm at every contact, and all were concerned about my comfort, not to mention had all my insurance clearance covered, I will definitely return to Dr, Ettric and his staff in the future for any root canal work for myself and any family members. I simply cannot recommend them highly enough!

Having a root canal shouldn’t be so relaxing, right? But I think I might have dozed off! Just had my third experience with Dr. Ettrich and his team, and I would never go anywhere else. I was even able to fill out forms from home in advance. Thanks, Melissa - and thanks Brittany for the “cool shades.” 👍😁

The root canal procedure went very well and the endondontist was great to talk to and an extremely experienced professional. Really took his time to ensure no pain during the procedure and I was comfortable with everything. To this point insurance worked out just as described and there were no extra charges. The negative reviews posted against this buisness simply because the reviewers didn't figure out financials before hand seem very unfair. However, it may help if before any work is done the receptionist once again clarifies the estimated required copay for the procedure. Though for me it still went smoothly. After the procedure I did have some pain, but with just tylenol and advil I feel fine. I would however recommended having someone else to drive you home, especially if driving far. Finally, it would also be appreciated if the office provided more information / a print out on what to do afterwards (e.g. what foods to eat, advising to not eat until numbness goes away, and how often/how much meds to take) but this can all be found online. Overall fantastic experience for a root canal, got me in under 2 weeks, great doctor, definitely would recommend!

It’s apparent that Wedgewood Endontics is intentional about patient comfort during procedures. I actually relaxed and got lost in my thoughts during a root canal. The pain I experienced prior to the root canal is gone, same day. No Tylenol needed. This practice was highly recommended to me and now I know why.

Was very impressed with the accuracy..kindness..details that are presented! The receptionist Melissa was so helpful..made me feel at ease..treated me like a good friend..not just another patient. The doctor was so easy to talk to..answered all my questions..was excellent at his work! My first-time here..i would recommend strongly!

Excellent experience. Very accommodating. I had to move my appointment up a few days because my tooth was hurting and they made the change with no issue. I had a root canal, which by the nature of it is not pleasant, but I practically feel asleep 2 times during the procedure. There was no pain, and the dentist took extra time to be sure I was fully numb before starting. Highly recommend to anyone with a little fear about pain at the dentist!

Dr Ettrich and his staff were very friendly and professional . My root canal procedure went flawlessly with no pain. Dr Ettrich kept me informed as he went thru all the steps in my procedure. In and out of the chair in less than an hour. Dr Ettrich promised to call me tomorrow as a followup. I would highly recommend Dr Ettrich and his staff to anyone needing a root canal procedure.

I suppose I don’t understand the negative reviews because Dr. Ettrich and his staff are amazing! I’ve had previous bad experiences with root canals (in Atlanta) and was super-anxious. I was so surprised at how kind, attentive and understanding everyone was today. It ended up being easy peasy and would recommend to anyone! Thank you for making today a life-changer.

I am extremely impressed by your receptionist who took time to explain the forms I had to complete. She also was pleasant and answered my questions. Dr. Chris was informative regarding the root canal procedure. I have had severely root canals with another endodontist’s but Dr. Chris get the blue ribbon. He was pleasant and I had no pain. I have had other Endodontics services from other professionals. Many, actually. This is by FAR the best experience! Dr. Ettrich is literally amazing!! His staff is helpful, professional and wonderful to deal with as well. I HIGHLY recommend Wedgewood Endo to all! I will never go to another Endodontics practice. These guys are the best of the best!!

Wonderful! Really. I was so dreading the root canal because of things I had heard (even though Dr. Ettrich told me it would not be a bad experience). He was so right. It did take longer than normal, but that was because my tooth was crooked and a bit of a challenge. However there was no pain and after the procedure, everything was basically back to normal. No pain, no swelling. I highly recommend Dr. Ettrich!

I was seen by Dr. Ettrich on an emergency basis to perform a root canal procedure, after seeing my family dentist. The professionalism and empathy I received from the staff was excellent from the minute I stepped into the office. The level of care continued when I met Dr. Ettrich as he explained the procedure, outcomes and prognosis in a thorough and easy to understand manner. As the procedure progressed, Dr. Ettrich and was always mindful of my comfort. His knowledge and experience is evident by the way he completed the process. His relationship with his staff shows he cares a lot about them. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Ettrich.

My husband and myself have now been seen and worked on by Dr. Ettrich and cannot say enough good things about him and his staff. I was scared to death as this was only my second major tooth procedure and I am 42 years old but he made me feel relaxed and made sure I understood what he was doing so I it wouldn't be unexpected. We are so grateful to be patients here and would never go anywhere else.

I hate going to the dentist and was very nervous for both the consult and then the procedure. Melissa and Dr. Ettrich made me feel at ease from the moment I walked in the door. I had a great experience getting my root canal done with Dr. Ettrich back in December. The procedure itself was painless, and I had no complications afterwards. Dr. Ettrich took the time to make sure that I understood my options for the different root canal procedures as well as what my x-rays indicated. This is one of the things I really appreciate about Dr. Ettrich. The day after my procedure, Dr. Ettrich called to make sure I was doing ok. A month or so after getting my crown, I had another free appointment with him to check how my root canal was healing. This shows that Dr. Ettrich really cares about his clients, and I highly recommend him to anyone in need of a root canal.

Dr. Ettrich is the best! I have had a few root canals and each time it was a calm, pleasant experience and he explained everything before, during and after the procedure. He calls to check on you later and I have never experienced any problems during or after any procedure. I completely trust that he knows exactly what he is doing. He completely answers all my many questions. Being in the healthcare industry myself, I am very picky on who does any medical/dental treatment on me. Just a note to let you know how pleased and grateful I am for Dr. Ettrich's expertise and timely responsiveness to provide a root canal. He has worked on numerous teeth for me and I have been very satisfied with his work. I have been the recipient of his new Gentle Wave technology twice now and I love the results! I was anxious about having a root canal and my dentist, Shelley Shults, highly recommended that I have Dr. Ettrich verify that I truly needed one. His exam revealed damage that was not visible on regular x-rays. I had absolutely no pain during the root canal or afterward (has now been 9 months). After years of "babying" a highly sensitive tooth, it is a pleasure to no longer have any pain whatsoever. Dr. Ettrich is the best! He even made a personal follow-up call the day after the procedure to ensure that all was well.

This office was amazing. I had a root canal previously with another endodontist and it was the most painful experience, so I was expecting the same dreadful experience here. Dr. Ettrich and his staff completely changed my opinion for the better and erased my anxiety. They made sure I was comfortable, asked frequently if I was doing ok, and I was so impressed with how fast and efficient he was during the procedure. I hope to never need another root canal, but if I do I know exactly who to go to!

Wow. Had a tooth treated in Florida. It didn’t go so well. My Ohio dentist - Morgan Kelley Tiemstra DDS recommended Wedgewood Endodontics - and the repeat treatment went fabulously. I was so comfortable that I would go back in a heartbeat if I ever need another root canal! Thank you, Chris Ettrich DDS and personable staff - you were wonderful. I was extremely nervous to have a root canal, but Wedgewood Endodontics was the only office out of the seven I called that put my worries to ease.
