Dr. Ettrich was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, where he graduated from Reynoldsburg High School. He attended The Ohio State University for undergraduate and dental school. After college, Dr. Ettrich served in the United States Air Force until 2006. While in the Air Force, he completed Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency for one year and also practiced general dentistry for seven.
From 2002-2004, Dr. Ettrich attended the University of Washington where he graduated with a certificate in endodontics and a Master’s of Science Degree in Dentistry. During this time, he also served as Chief of Endodontics and Department Head of the Endodontic Section of the AEGD program at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida.
After 11 years of serving in the Air Force, Dr. Ettrich moved back to Ohio and began to transition to private practice. In 2007 he founded Wedgewood Endodontics. Dr. Ettrich has been recognized as a top endodontist in Columbus by Columbus Monthly since 2011. Dr. Ettrich is married with two children. In his free time, he enjoys golfing and spending time with his family.
